No/Low Carbs for 10 days

If I go low/no carrbs for 10 days, realistically how much weight do you think I can lose?

I'm moderately over my healthy weight, and would like to do a very short-term diet before going on holiday (mainly so I can fit into my shorts and not buy new ones)

About half a stone, most of which will be water weight.

There’s not enough info here for anyone to make any kind of estimate for what you might lose as a measurement of weight. But as a short term solution, it sounds like a good one to shift a little bit of timber in two week. It might be worth combining with IF if that is something that could work with your lifestyle.

I have to be honest that half a stone won't be hugely noticeable.

Weight loss is only really noticeable after about a stone and a half as most people just aren't paying as much attention as we do.

But you would feel slimmer for sure - you will feel slimmer on your waist and clothes may feel a little looser.

That's my experience of doing the Fast 800 low carb diet.

You could combine it with some sit ups as that helps strengthen the core which will help cinch the waist in too.

Thank you! I'm around 16lbs heavier than the weight I'd like to be, so anything lost over the next 2 weeks will feel like a bonus. I haven't fasted today because I woke up super tired and needed coffee but I'm low carb today and from tomorrow I'll include the fasting too
