Hair thinning due to ozempic? Anyone?

My hair has significantly thinned and changed texture in last couple of years.
I’m taking ozempic 2.5 years and am 42 since February, wonder is it age or jab related?

Probably weight loss related rather than ozempic directly.

Ozempic doesn’t cause hair loss.

Any rapid weight loss, which GLPs can induce, can trigger temporary hair loss in some people. It will grow back.

My hair thins when I don't eat enough carb.

Lustrous hair is like a nice to have. The body won't bother using energy for it when there aren't spare calories.

I am on Mounjaro and also having the side effect of hair loss. I believe it’s because I am malnourished due to not eating as much. So starting a multi vitamin and collagen to see if it helps 🤞🏻

Rapid weight loss will do that. I lost half of my hair when I lost 3 stone on mounjaro. There’s about a 3 month lag, so once the weight loss slows down you’ll keep losing hair for another 3 months and then it stops, thankfully.

My weight loss isn’t rapid though 53lbs in 2.5 years but I get what ye are saying
