I'm no longer morbidly obese!

Great news BUT I am Class 2 obese (temporarily).

I let myself go - for years. Prioritised other things in live. My weight got out of hand. I'm a pear shape too so it looked extra awful - tiny shoulders and upper body with HUGE hips and bum. Caught a glance of myself in a full length mirror leaving the hairdressers and I was horrified. Went home to discover I was almost 18 stone and I'm only 5ft 3! Morbidly obese was not a badge I wanted to wear - things had to change.

Something just snapped inside me. I had enough.

I stopped eating take aways and junk food. I stopped drinking full fat fizzy drinks (or indeed ANY fizzy drinks!). I started walking a minimum of 4 miles every single day. I don't smoke or drink alcohol so that's not an issue.

That was at the start of May. I've now lost over 1 and 1/2 stone moving me out of that morbidly obese zone. I WILL lose the rest.

What I've noticed so far:

  • My skin looks amazing! I never had bad skin before however I've had comments on how radiant it now is. Suspect the water is at play there!
  • I feel SO MUCH BETTER. I no longer have hunger spikes or crave fizzy foods or junk.
  • Quality of sleep has dramatically improved.
  • My fitness is so so much better. I no longer feel out of breath simply going up the stairs.
  • My overall mood is significantly better.
  • I feel more energetic and enjoy hitting my step target each day.
  • My body is changing in ways that I'm very happy with - hips are already smaller, stomach apron is shrinking, bum is smaller.

I have a lot more to lose but I now know after 6 weeks of this new regime that I can and will do it.
