Mounjaro not working?

I've been using Mounjaro for 4 weeks now (2.5 mg),took my 4th dose 3 days ago. So far I have not noticed any reduction in my appetite or the 'food noise' in my head. I have previously used Wegovy and Ozempic and noticed a quite substantial reduction in my appetite and the food noise after my second injection. I switched over to Mounjaro as the Wegovy I was on was starting to be less effective, and also because I'd heard good reports about Mounjaro regarding the amount of weight lost and appetite reduction. Has anyone else had this issue? Will I notice a reduction in my appetite when I move onto the 5 mg dose next week? I'm hoping that I'm not one of these rare people that Mounjaro doesn't work for.

I’m one of those where it isn’t effective at a lower dose! I’m now on 10mg but didn’t do the full dose and I do have suppression and got suppression at 7.5mg but I’m not having the big losses! I’ve been stuck in the same weight for weeks hence going up. I’ve lost about 1.5stone since March I think I started taking it. I’m trying to stick with it, but not going to say I’m not disheartened when I see other people saying how effective it is and the big numbers. I’ve got about 1.5 to loose

autumn1610 Ah right! It's not just me then. I must admit I'm getting seriously disheartened. I've not gained any weight in the in the last 4 weeks, but I've not lost any either. Bearing in mind the cost of this stuff,I'm trying to decide whether to stick with the Mounjaro or go back to Wegovy or Ozempic, which at least I know works, even at the lower doses! I've got 3 and half stone to lose,I managed to lose 5 stone without weight loss injections (god knows how as my will power is practically zero!) and another 2 stone on Wegovy or Ozempic.

I've not experienced this myself, but from what I've read quite a bit is people who switch over and have previously used WLI find that they need stronger dose of MJ to take effect.. don't know how true that is but as I say I've read it a few times now..

morbidcuriosity I DID wonder if it might be that. I was on Wegovy prior to starting on Mounjaro,I took my last dose of Wegovy 2 weeks before starting the Mounjaro. I switched to Mounjaro because the Wegovy didn't seem to be surpressing my appetite much any more. Makes sense I suppose, going from the relatively high dose of 1.7 mg Wegovy to the lowest dose of Mounjaro.
