Hey! 👋 who else has recently started orlistat? I started it on Tuesday so my first weigh in is this coming Tuesday. The oily yoghurt poops are not great 😂 Any experiences good or bad are welcome 🙏

The whole point of taking Orlistat is that you're meant to change your diet as well

"Oily poops" suggest you haven't done that

It only reduces fat by 25% so you need to eat a strict low fat diet to stop the symptoms. If you have symptoms you’re not eating correctly yet. You can’t have excess sugar & carbs and need to stay in calorie deficit or it won’t work either. It’s supposed to work by someone refusing to eat an oily pizza so they don’t leak orange oil instead of thinking you can flush away the fat, is that your understanding? Are you tracking the fat you eat?

Calm your heels down! It was prescribed for me and yes I’m on a calorie deficit diet. So I have banana pancakes for breakfast or a slim fast a salad for lunch and then I have 1 tablet with my evening meal and I’m going to the gym 3 days a week … I am eating correctly and the oily shit is normal at the beginning 🤦🏼‍♀️
