i am in desperate need to lose weight, I've looked into the WLIs but right now there's some uncertainty at work, I do however have some protein powder.. I'm going to start VLCD tomorrow.. my plan is to do it for 3 months and then transition into low carb/high protein and start using the gym... Any words of wisdom? Anyone else doing it and want moral support?

I did it - James Duncan diet- lost 2 stone. Fourteen days on and a week off in between.

James Duncan diet (it’s not a scientific thing at all) is around 800 calories per day and on the in between week I ate 1200

i allowed myself Saturday night a cheat meal.

I get weighed everyday to keep me focused

boiled egg is the best snack.

high flavour low calorie ifoods like capers and pickles

also had some rich tea biscuits as a treat. after a few days you get used to it.

I actually really like eating the same thing all the time and the lack of UPF.
