has anyone had a successful weight loss journey?

im 4 weeks post partum, just had my second baby. Not looking to start anything today but slowly thinking about what I will do once I get the green light from doctors. Last time I never dropped my pregnancy weight but because I knew I will have another baby I wasn’t too bothered.

ive never actually known anyone with a successful weight loss experience. I’m hoping to lose 19kg / 40lbs - that’s my pre pregnancy weight and now I’m 79kg.

any diet or exercise tips would be fab. ☺️

I have lost 20lbs since my second baby was born (5 months ago).

I didn't start anything until after my 8 week postpartum GP check.

What I've been doing:

Intermittent fasting (16:8)

Eating loads of fruit

For lunch having sandwiches stuffed with eggs, roasted veggies, tuna etc

Walking everywhere

Exercising (using a cross trainer at home, and also going to baby-friendly exercise classes)

I still eat lentil crisps and chocolate but am more mindful as to the quantity and frequency of treats!

I don't drink alcohol as I'm breastfeeding. I drink loads of water. About 4 litres a day minimum.

Best of luck to you on your journey 💪🏻
