Loose a few pounds & time up

I’d like to loose half a stone. I’m 5ft 2 & about 8 stone 11. I’ve had two children who are now 9 & 6 & I haven’t really ever got my pre mum body back.

I’ve got quite chunky thighs, bum & small spare tyre & the tops of my arms are not the smallest so I need to tone up. I work full time & a busy mum of two so I don’t have a lot of spare time at all.

I’m also conscious that I’m getting married next year & would like to look & feel amazing.

Would be grateful for some support & guidance as I don’t really know where to start with anything. Also, would like some advice on what type of exercises I should do to help me? I really am rubbish at this sort thing!

Thanks!

You have already achieved the first goal by deciding your done with weight gain and want to make changes. That's the hardest step. Secondly, I'd advice to download a calorie counting app like myfitnesspal, that's free and all you do is log your food you eat and it keeps track of the calories your consuming. Most people start off at 1400 calories a day. I usually do 1200 calories a day but right now iv joined weight watches. It's about making small changes to begin with and everything counts. As in exercise, start off small like adding in your steps each day and trying to achieve 10,000 steps each day, you can start at 5,000 each day and increase every so often. Then once you can easily reach your step count you can add in a light workout a couple days a week and again increasing as you learn to shift your time for yourself. I'm currently in the early stages of small changes each day. There is also a thread on this group that a few people have joined and we are doing the weight loss and accountability together if you would like to join that. I'm pretty sure it's called " a lot of weight to lose" or something like that. Good luck in your journey. This is my second time iv had to lose a lot of weight. The first time was extremely easy and I lost 30kg in 8 months this time iv been doing it on and off for over a year and I'm not really shifting anything at all but decided to try one last time before I get medical intervention..
