Well it’s possible. That’s about 1.5 pounds a week which is not a crazy amount of weight loss. I’m curious as to why you need to lose 6 pounds specifically in that time frame?

Have a wedding to go to towards the end of May and want to feel slimmer …it might be easy to lose 6lb if I was a heavier weight but I’m very much average with a healthy BMI and wondered how easy it was. Would be interested to hear of someone else achieving this.

6lb would take me down to 9st 2lb which is a nice weight for me ..I would feel better than I do now 😃 but, as you say, I don’t need to be specific. Anything between 6lb and 8lb loss would be good 👍🏼

Well, I don’t have recent experience of losing weight from a healthy weight starting point, but if you can create a 500 cal deficit each day then you should be able to lose a pound a week. If your TDEE means a 500 cal deficit is hard to achieve, then you would either need to accept a slower rate of loss or increase your exercise to compensate.

I am the same height and weight as you and I'm targetting the same loss for a holiday. It's doable if you are really consistent.

I am doing 15000 steps a day, 4 x weight training sessions a week and 1750 calories (high protein, moderate carbs). May need to drop the calories a bit for the last couple of weeks but I know this approach works for me.

Also to note, at this weight and height you should track other progress metrics, not just body weight. A measurement or two, or photos, that sort of thing. You may get leaner but not lighter some weeks.

Thank you both @SilenceInside and @everycowandagain
already cutting out chocolate ! Limiting alcohol ! Have a really active job (just at weekends) plus have spent the past two days helping some friends move house (lifting boxes/plants/furniture items)so definitely in calorie deficit (no time to eat 😅😅)

I think it depends on how you eat now .

look at small changes you can make. Do you eat crisps , can you reduce the sugars in your diet .

its pretty hard to know without knowing what you are eating .

@theworldhasgonebonkersall that extra activity will help! Move as much as you can, it does make a difference. When you're a healthy weight already every little bit helps.

I'm same height and a stone heavier and looked slim. Size 10 or slightly less. Why would you want to lose weight? If i was a stone lighter I would look gaunt in my face...
