Am contemplating using slim fast for two meals a day. Has anyone tried this and did it work?

I’ve just bought Protein works extreme meal replacements. I did Cambridge about 15 years ago and it worked really well for me so I’m hoping these will get me back on the right path. I think slim fast is similar. My friend had weight loss surgery last year and pre op she went on a liver shrinking diet for 2 or 3 weeks when she was told to have four slim fast a day only. She did lose weight - I guess as long as the meal you have is healthy and within calorie allowance it will work!

Thanks @Catsinaflat I haven’t heard of Protein works so will look at that as well as a possibility.

Heya I’ve done one half of a Huel for lunch 200 cals. It’s similar to slimfast. Then a reasonable sized dinner.

it’s working to give me a cal deficit.

@lucya66 how much have you lost so far with your approach?

4.6 lbs in 11 days but I did indulge a bit over Easter with chocolate.

so I wake up, coffee, half a Huel at lunch, banana at 3pm, dinner at 6.30 and a small treat like 100 calories.

i have 14lbs to lose after having my baby last year.
