I was 13st 13lb when I came home with dd2
I lost a stone and a half by snacking less and swapping to diet/ low fat/ low cal options and walking as much as I could fit in then I got 2 jobs (one childminding 50 hours per week and 15hrs per week as a carer for the elderly and disabled) which helped me lose a bit too that took me about a year then I lost interest in losing weight until I gained 7lb over last christmas.

Jan 2008 - I weighed 12st and decided to really kick ass and get the weight off!

I joined WW, followed the core plan went swimming, areobics, aqua fit, walking whenever i got the chance (upped exercise from once a week to 3 times per week over time)

Dp has really helped me by taking care of our dd's when he comes in from work so I can go swimming or whatever for an hour a night.

I have had a lot of support from this thread full of lovely ladies!!

Last week i weighed in at 9 stone 12 lbs and a half.

I'm proud of myself and the support given to me from everyone around me. I am happier, healthier, fitter and thinner!

I've got another 7lbs to lose (i think, we'll see how it goes)

Wow well done you. I'm at WW following the core plan and have lost 13lbs - my dc are aged 7 and 5!!!!

WOW good for you you must feel fantastic

LoveMyGirls · 19/05/2008 08:18

Keep at it Lisa it really does work.

I do feel fab and I get compliments most days now, this week I'm treating myself to hair cut, fake tan, manicure and eyebrow wax plus i've had some new clothes and my dp is taking me away for a romantic weekend so I feel absolutly amazing! I feel younger (I'm only in my mid 20's but when I was heavier I ached everyday and had no energy)

Anyone out there who is starting today or has recently started losing weight or is thinking about getting round to it just do it, it's so worth it!
