Loose skin after weight loss, wanting to just put the weight back on.

I have lost a lot of weight recently and been left with a lot of loose skin. I can’t afford surgery which seems like the only option. I genuinely feel worse than being overweight.
Is there anyway of tightening the skin as I’m tempted to just put the weight back on again.

When you say a lot, what size have you gone from and too? I'm down from a 22 to 12 nearly six stone with no loose skin to talk of. I'm also 55 years old so don't have youth on my side. Exercise will help but I think you need to be realistic that there is going to be some if it was very stretched. There's no lotion or potion that's going to tighten it up to the naked eye. If you find on let me know though as I do have bingo wings, but the swimming and weights are making a difference

I went from a size 24 to size 10/12 and after about a year the strange texture my skin had taken on seemed to improve. I wouldn’t have described it as loose, more doughy? How quickly did you lose the weight?

Give it a year and use retinol creams to help collagen renewal.

That's a good description, mine looks like when you leave dough to prove, kind of soft and spongy

Do you have any recommendations for retinol body creams?

For what it's worth, I've lost alot of weight. Due to connective tissue disorders my body is covered in stretch marks which developed during childhood and unrelated to weight. Since the weight loss they've taken on the deflated balloon look so I'm looking at surgery, but am using that oil and waiting 12 months to see if it helps a bit.

I'm sure you know that loose skin won't kill you but fat may well.
