Looking into Mounjaro

I would like to lose weight and I would like to know other people's experiences of Mounjaro.
Has anyone had any side effects?
How did you start did you eat as normal and then you dieted?
Did you carry on eating as normal and still lost weight?
Did anyone feel depressed or anxious while they were taking it?
I would really like to know people's experience so I can prepare myself mentally as well physically. TIA

Have a look on the injections board, plenty of feedback there. Also lots of people post about their experiences on YouTube- try Downsized.

I've been on mounjaro for 7 weeks, only heartburn as a side affect but no good affects either. I've lost 4lb, no suppression or anything, really disappointed not sure if it is worth continuing. I've started eat unhealthy snacks again as my motivation has subsided. Not sure if it's worth re ordering and going to 7.5mg

I've lost about 3 stone since early November on Mounjaro. It's a tool that helps you lose weight. I have to diet hard and exercise. It slows digestion and stabilises blood sugar so it helps the sustainability of a calorie deficit. I eat for nutrition rather than to fill me up. It's fantastic

As thornbury says, the specific board will have a lot of info but I find it quite overwhelming. It is essential you have a good grasp of the basics before you start though. Drinking plenty of water, avoiding certain foods to start with etc.
I started eating better beforehand (and lost a few lbs between ordering and first injection) almost everything is cooked from scratch.
I'm using this medicine to help me rewire my brain and body so I can eventually stop the injections and maintain. No point in taking it and eating how I did before.
I've had no real negative side effects and am 1 1/2 stone down in about 6 weeks. Only problems I have are when I eat too much "junk" and I am physically sick. 3 small cookies over the space of 4 hours was too much for example. Not everyone will have that, just my experience.

No anxiety etc even though I can be quite prone to it in general.
