Currently on a calorie deficit plus doing workouts however twice this week I’ve just felt down unmotivated I’ve currently lost over 1 and half stone 24pounds my goal weight is 145lbs currently 166lbs but this week has been a little tricky I’ve been so hard on myself and feel like I’ve failed.

any advice on how to get over this point in your weight loss journey

Your weight loss so far is FANTASTIC so congratulations on that!
I know it’s hard when the numbers seem not to move very much, and your target still feels so far away, but you will get there. Look where you would be if you had never started…hang on in there, you are doing brilliantly! Flowers

@FeelingLikeAFaultyNPCthabk you so much needed to hear that I did cheat on my diet a few times this week and haven’t had a consistent workout routine I know I’m human and things happen just been having a few life issues which has now been resolved so I’ll be on back on track this week

Keep going! I started intermittent fasting, calorie deficit and tracking calories in MFP around 13 weeks ago. I am not exercising just focusing on my diet. I started at 158lbs and am currently at 144lbs. Some weeks I've plateaued, and the last week I've really struggled! I just try to reset if I feel I'm slipping into old habits (I have a terrible sweet tooth and am genetically greedy!). The last time I was this weight was 2017. It's been a gradual weight gain for me over many years so I have to keep reminding myself that its okay for the weight loss is to be slow and steady. You're doing great 👍
