Half a stone in 10 weeks

I‘ve lost 7lbs in the past ten weeks and feeling a little discouraged.

I started at the upper end of the healthy weight range, aiming to get to the lower end (where I feel I look best, and it gives a bit of wiggle room).

I was hoping to be at goal weight by Easter but that’s definitely not going to happen now.

I‘ve been doing intermittent fasting with only about 4 days off in total. Weighing and logging everything, averaging 1300-1400 calories a week.

I know any loss is going in the right direction. Just hoping for some encouragement 🙏

I would love to lose my next half a stone, ideally 9lb. I’ll be doing low UPF, high plants/whole foods and TRE.
How do you feel about posters listing what they plan to eat or have eaten that day? Conscious that might be unhelpful.

Oops, I may not have read your OP correctly!

7lbs in 10 weeks might not sound loads, but that’s averaging 0.7lb a week which is really good, sustainable weight loss for your body. You should be proud of your loss :-)

Can you add in some more exercise? Have you tried calorie cycling - that’s helped me before

Hi OP, congrats on what you’ve managed to achieve so far. Intermittent fasting with keto would probably help accelerate but isn’t a long term solution. Remember carbs attract more body water weight, so initially you’ll lose quite a bit then it’s genuine fat loss.

If you are eating 1400 a day then your weight loss will be slow. I need to eat around a 1000. On the old Weightwatchers 20 points I would put on weight. I have lost 5 kgs in 4 weeks but am eating much less than usual. A 80 cal cereal bar for breakfast and a supermarket salad bowl for lunch. Dinner is a small portion of a veggie meal.

People who are eating so low calorie, do you worry about your metabolism??
