Weight loss side effects! :(

Hi 😊 I'm getting married this year so in January decided to get healthy. I was only about a stone "overweight" and had 8 months before the wedding - I just wanted to focus on being all round healthier not just for weight but my skin, hair, nails etc and there was no rush. I started eating healthier, about 1600kcals a day, exercising 3 times a week and drinking more water. I've still had treats - a few takeaways, meals out, chocolate, a couple of "nights off" so nothing too restrictive. I've dieted (and yo-yo dieted!!) many times and my weight usually comes off quite slowly. Fast forward 2.5 months and I've lost 16lbs. It's fallen off me, which has left me feeling very loose and wobbly all over even though I've been strength training. That's my first annoyance! But also, I'm bloody exhausted all the time!? I've messaged my doctor today but have to wait a few weeks for blood tests. I'm suffering from fatigue, bloating randomly, headaches. This all seems to have started in correlation with the weight loss. They are thinking some kind of deficiency - but surely now I'm eating a healthy balanced diet, I'm getting more nutrients than ever before!?
Anyone else lost weight and felt worse for it!??

I had similar big weight loss, thirst and felt tired/wobbly and GP tested for diabetes. Might be worth getting checked by your GP?

Did/ do you have diabetes then? They want me to do blood & stool tests to rule out IBS/celiac/anemia but there's no blood test appts for 2.5 weeks so just got to wait. I was going to start a multi vitamin but now wondering if to wait until after the blood test?

What is your TDEE and how big of a deficit is 1600 calories compared to your maintenance calories?

What does a typical day of food look like? Are you eating plenty of protein, fat and fibre, with a good range of different fruits and veg?

Tiredness could be a vitamin deficiency, particularly Vitamin D, or one/several of the B vitamins, could also be an iron deficiency.

My TDEE is 1900, so it's only a deficit of 300. I do have days where it's over 1600 though, but that's where I try and aim for. Typical day includes toast for breakfast because I'm in a rush before work/school runs (weekends would be poached egg and spinach on toast or something). At work I typically have some fruit, a pasta salad (lettuce, sweetcorn, peppers, chicken, pasta, onions) & lots of water. Tea is different all the time but always a "bigger" meal with protein, carbs & veg. Chilli, wraps, tacos, rice dishes, cod, ramen, chicken wings etc..massive variety of meals! Then I tend to have a protein yoghurt/drink at some point aswell. Some days I'll snack more, some days I won't it depends but snacks include popcorn, nuts, chicken. Probably 2 cups of tea a day and about 1.5-2ltrs of water. I feel like I'm getting so much more in terms of nutrition than I was before!
