So confused! Trying to lose weight but also prediabetic. So I need low carb. I am not very clued up on all this. When I've googled its saying 10% carb, 30% protein and 70% fat. Does this sound right? recommended daily calorie intake 1200 cal.

I was previously eating a more high protein/low carb diet but the more I look into it the more I become confused

I'd focus on your protein being around 30% firstly and not worry too much about carbs and fat...and perhaps up your calories it sounds too low to be sustainable
This is advice from my pt and lost half a stone in 2 months
