Hi all
inadvertently did DJ and I’m still going. Was on half a bottle most night. Maybe less.

only now - Feb week 2 and I’m noticing quite a weight loss - upper arms, waist, jawline

have got lost weight from DJ? Does it carry on? Did you find, like me, it’s quite a few weeks until you notice?

im a normal weight , in proportion. Unfortunately, because I was ill when I started, I didn’t weigh myself, but I think it’s probably half a stone.

It took me weeks to notice any weight loss, it was very small considering I was having a couple of thousand calories in wine each week.
I also discovered that, after a few weeks wine free, I was starting replacing the sugar I was missing in wine with snacks I’d never eaten before, so didn’t then didn’t lose any more weight until I tackled my diet.

@Oldhabitsarehardtobreak I found this too, in January I seems to be completely powerless to chocolate! It's fading off a bit now. I lost 1 measley pound in Jan, then gained half, then half again. So a total loss of zero! And yes, considering I'd probably have a full days calories a week just on wine, I do feel a little cheated.

I am sleeping so much better though so that is enough for me to keep going for now, and i am gradually getting control of the sugar cravings.

Totally agree about the sugar urge
rather that than throat cancer, I suppose
