Clothes feel looser but my measurements have gone up?

Hi all, I've lost 9lbs (still a lot less to go!) thanks to the help of mounjaro, upping my protein and going to the gym consistently.

I feel like my clothes are fitting slightly better, I had one coat that I couldn't bend my arms in comfortably because it was too small which now fits nicely on my arms. Thought I would do my measurements as I haven't done them since October before I started mounjaro and thought it would be good to start recording them again as I know the scales can go up and down and it's good to track progress in other ways.

Looking at my measurements from October compared to now, I've put on a few centimetres everywhere apparently, despite being lighter than I was back then 🥴 I know that your weight can stay the same but you can lose inches all over if you are exercising well, but how on earth have I gained on my measurements despite my clothes feeling like they fit much better?!

I was a bit disheartened this week as I gained a lb so thought doing my measurements would show some good results and now I wish I hadn't bothered!

If you've lost 9lbs and clothes fit you better then I'd guess you've measured yourself wrong?

I do always try to measure in the same place but I suppose I could have, lots of rolls can get in the way of the tape 🤣
