Yes I did nearly 15 years ago. It was life changing.

Another friend of mine did two years ago and it was also life changing.

BUT now with weight loss injections, this is the route I would take now.

So easy. No operations involved.

Look at the weight loss injection threads on here.

Honestly as someone who has done both I would really advise taking the injections.

I lost my body weight with the operation but over the years put back on 3 stone, hence why I'm now on the injections.

I had a gastric band and my friend had the bypass.

I've lost the 3 stone now through the injections and it's much simpler.

I was listening to some American podcasts by people who were the nutritionist and doctors who were saying that an awful lot of people who have had weight loss surgery are now on the injections.

A friend had surgery about 10 years ago and lost 6 stone . Unfortunately it is starting to go back on, she is thinking about having injections.
A friend of hers has tried the injections and can’t tolerate them so thinking about surgery.

Ah shame. Then yes I would definitely opt for surgery.
