Restarting healthy habits/eating after Christmas

I’m stuck. I have a history of disordered eating and find I swing between periods of eating very healthily and very unhealthily. How on earth do I get on an even keel?? I want to eat healthily but I feel out of control after all of the Christmas feasting.

Me too @MagickTrick , I thought it was just because there was Christmas stuff in but now that's gone I'm still struggling. I'm just trying every day, making sure my meals are good and nutritious and generally trying not to berate myself too harshly if I slip up. Trying hard to get a good protein breakfast and drink lots of water in the morning as well seems to help me later on in the day, if I don't drink enough early enough I get an insatiable hunger for sugar that seems to take over me.

Thanks @thenewaveragebear1983 , sorry you are having the same problem.
I’m definitely going to try and drink more water as I know for sure I don’t get enough daily. Hopefully that will help!

Exactly the same here, was doing really well up to Christmas but now struggling to get back to it.
Probably enjoyed myself far too much for 2 weeks

I was in Christmas mood for about 2 months and also struggling. I keep reminding myself though that for every blip I am actually eating much better than last month and it's going in the right direction. I may lose my Christmas gain by November!!

How are you getting on @MagickTrick ? I have had a better few days, I sat and planned every meal and snack for the week and have actually stuck to it so far, which is better than I had been doing!
