Desperate to lose some weight for the summer. I thought I'd buy a healthy cook book and make my way through it. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

Depends what you mean by heathy as different people have radically different ideas about what healthy is, but Feel Good by Melissa Hemsley was my cookbook surprise hit of last year. The recipes are varied, simple enough for midweek cooking and really delicious.

Thanks you're right sorry, should have been more specific. I'm looking for healthy but realistic I.E not recipes with tons of expensive/hard to get ingredients just tasty but good for you food that's not too hard to cook.

So Good by Emily English is great. She's a nutritionist, but the food is really tasty. Not a lot of arcane ingredients. The Fast diet books are all good too - tasty recipes that are mostly quick and easy (the ones for the Michael Moseley diet).
