Hello all. In a bid to help with a health condition or two I'm looking for suggestions for healthy, preferably whole food/non UPF type snacks. I'm not calorie counting or looking to lose weight as such, but looking for things I can have in to snack on or an evening, rather than reaching for crisps/chocolate/biscuits etc. which sometimes lead me to have headaches, constipation and feeling a bit rubbish the next day.
If I did happen to lose a bit of weight too that would help but isn't my primary aim.
All suggestions for sweet and savoury options gratefully received!

nestle lindahls kvarg, a healthy yogurt alternative.
I also use boiled eggs as an extremely healthy snack. Seeds and nuts in moderation are also a great alternative. Also look at a company called MyProtein they do a whole range of ‘healthier’ meals, proteins bars cookies. Only just found them myself so not used them yet but I will be trying them soon.

if I want something sweet, I've been putting some crunchy peanut butter inside medjool dates. one or two really hit the spot.

Yes! A couple of medjool dates and a cup of tea is heaven. They are so naturally sweet!

Roasted chickpeas with whatever spice seasoning you like.
Frozen berries with yoghurt

Carrots, cucumber and celery with homemade hummus.
Grapes or any fresh fruit. Watermelon is great.
Nuts and seeds.
I always have half an apple and spread peanut butter on it (the 100% peanut one, with no added fat, sugar or salt).
