Doubt I'll get much traction on this thread but was hoping for some advice from people who are clued up!

I'm signing up to a fitness class. I haven't looked after myself at all in recent years and a brisk walk has me gasping.

Found a fun looking activity and I'm mentally prepared.

Three kids, long work hours etc. it's going to take a massive adjustment and commitment to keep up.

But it runs from 7-8pm.

Usually I rush in from work, gather up the kids etc and get them to bed from 7.30pm (ish) then my DH and I will have dinner.

So, it'll be rushing around picking kids up etc and then getting changed and running out of the door to the class.

So twice a week do I just skip dinner or eat at 8.30pm? Feels very late.

Eat (again?) at my desk at 5pm (more meal prep) and then a banana after?

How do manage it?

I would have a substantial, hot lunch as the main meal of the day, then plan something very quick for late dinner such as soup or quiche.
