someone was selling this product and I fell for it. Costed £200 odd. It’s a powder. Now I’ve been asked to purchase the lypolisis phase for a grand! Has anyone heard of this before? I feel
like it’s a scam.

Sounds well dodgy to me, can you get a refund?

Jingleberryalltheway · 25/12/2024 02:07

Sounds like a scam. MLM scam. If it was a ‘magic product’ everyone would be buying it and it would be in shops.

CheeseTime · 25/12/2024 02:59

Of course it’s a scam. Ignore any reviews you see online and any endorsements. These will be fake. Look for the peer reviewed scientific research. Do they claim there is any?
Without knowing anything about this wonder product I guarantee it is not worth that money. They are welcome to sue me.

Jostuki · 25/12/2024 03:37

It's high fibre which will leave you feeling full for longer but so will a bowl of All Bran!

You've been scammed into paying a high price for a very cheap product that a simple act of googling would have prevented you from being sucked in.

Cut your losses and don't pay them any more money.

Sabriz · 25/12/2024 11:48

I did check on google but nothing came up. Only used one box of product out of the 5 boxes sent and now I’m being told to throw it away and order the next phase!

You could have just bought a few packets of microwaveable red quinoa. Why would you spend £200 on quinoa? Maybe you have ADHD and make impulsive buys. Get yourself checked

Shorrobin · 02/01/2025 13:18

I've just had someone trying to sell me red quinoa tablets for over 250 pounds and apparently I'd loose 8 stone in 90 days !!! It's a scam definitely. I'm not falling for it

YouarelyingtomeIwillexposeyou · 19/01/2025 13:53

I want to share my experience so that no one else falls into the hands of these scammers:

At first, they contacted me claiming to be experts with 15 years of experience in nutrition (I’ve attached a screenshot of their phone number and how they identified themselves). They sold me the idea that with a £200 product that lasts for 90 days, I would lose weight. Despite telling them that I didn’t believe in “miracle” products, they assured me that it would come with a nutrition plan and coaching over the 90 days. After several days of them explaining everything to me and me warning them about the consequences of giving me misleading advertising (I even mentioned that I could expose their products on various platforms), they guaranteed 100% effectiveness, so I decided to purchase the product and paid the first £200.
When I received the product, the first thing that seemed strange was that if I hadn’t written to her, she wouldn’t have responded. Finally, she told me to take one packet before lunch, and that was it. After three days, I asked her about my nutrition plan, and she told me that my metabolism was doing well and that I was on the right track. She suggested that to get better results, I should move to the “lipolysis” phase, where I could lose as much weight as I wanted, and she sent me thousands of pictures of supposed clients who had lost weight.

Excited, I asked her how many packets I would need to get to that phase, and her response was shocking: “To move to that phase, you need to buy the £1,103 package, as the process has two stages.” I immediately replied, questioning how it was possible that she was offering me another product when I hadn’t even finished the first one, especially since I had made it clear from the beginning that I wouldn’t accept additional products or misleading advertising. I even sent her a link to a forum where these topics were being discussed, and she replied that it was just “bad publicity from detractors.”
Please, do not trust these scammers. I’m attaching screenshots of the numbers they contacted me from and some of the conversations (they are in Spanish, as they spoke Spanish). They even told me they could speak in Spanish too.

Have a nice day and don’t be fooled!
