curious as to if anyone sets them self a goal or limit of what they are comfortable to gain around this time of year, or do you try to not gain at all? I have maintained a weight in the healthy range for a year now and I am personally not wanting to do any yo yo dieting. I have been unwell for a couple of months and not very active, I didn’t gain anything at all until I started feeling better and got my appetite back and now I am up a few pounds (carbs are responsible!).
My strategy is not to gain too much over the festive season so I am not having to restrict or go on a diet in the new year. I’m trying to get out of the cycle of over eating at Christmas but I also want to enjoy myself within reason.
