Hypnotherapy

Has anyone tried hypnotherapy for loosing weight and was successful? Adds keep jumping at me on FB and I am tempted to trie, but really don't want to waste ££.
Do they work? I tried hypnotherapy face to face about 15 years ago in Harley street, but it did not work at all. And the female therapist was fat herself too .

I would always recommend hypnosis, with the caveat that anyone offering in-person hypnotherapy services should test you beforehand to ensure that you are hypnotisable - around one-third of people aren't. I used the Allen Carr system, which I downloaded from the local library, and was very successful with it. Could be worth trying something like that, or Paul McKenna, or any of a myriad of YT weight loss hypnosis files (e.g. Michael Seeley) before committing to a more expensive course.
