Hello

DH has just been dx with kidney disease and he need to keep salt and potassium low as well as protein.

I am looking for a website or app that I can look up a certain food - say 100g of potatoes and see that it has so much potassium, sodium, carbs, calories etc which I can make a lots of a which will help me plan meals.

Please can I have your recommendations? I am finding it really hard to find a reliable source and when I google each food it comes up with a different website each time.

Many thanks

Good luck with your husband.
Learn to bake your own bread. It is shockingly easy. I use fresh yeast but you can also learn to do sourdough. Bread is one of the highest salt food source. Caraway seeds is great as a substitute for salt in bread, especially with Rye flour.
