Over 30s weight loss chat

Hi all, I'm 36, and a mum of 2 (5 and 2), I work part time, and am trying to get some of myself back while being in the thick of mothering 2 small children (alongside PMDD symptoms). As a result of all that, my weight has increased to the point where my health is suffering, and my confidence is zero.

So I thought I'd start a new thread for those of us in our 30s, looking to lose some weight, get fitter, manage our mental and physical health, whilst juggling everything else in our lives.

The last time I lost a serious amount of weight (15years ago), I found forums like this invaluable, and they were key to my success.

So if anyone would like to join me, please jump on, and we can do it together.

I won't be posting my actual weight, as I find scales a bit triggering (former obsessive behaviours around weighing myself), but will post dress size or measurements, or non-scale victories. But please feel free to join in, or not with progress check in's.

Current dress size: 18uk
First target dress size: 16uk
Ultimate target dress size: 12uk
