Digital scales accuracy? (Esp Renpho)

I've just got these new digital scales by Renpho, to replace analogue scales that are probably about 25 years old.

My (what I thought were trusty) old scales say I'm half a stone LESS than what the new Renpho ones are saying?!! That's obviously a massive difference so I'm now wondering what scales are wrong?!

Does anyone have digital scales, especially these Renpho ones, and are the accurate? Is it more likely my ancient analogue ones are rubbish?

In which case I'm actually half a stone heavier than I always thought I was! 😳😩

You can easily weigh something you know the weight of, tin of beans, bag of rice etc. I have renpho and yes they are accurate

You know I wonder about this. I love my Renpho scales but I can literally weigh 0.8kg difference day to day. I used to have Withings scales and they were no better. Problem with the mechanical ones is that my eyes aren't good enough to see the number!!

I'd trust the new digital ones. I have Renpho and think they're pretty accurate.

So a 500g bag of pasta weighs 500g on my new digital scales. Damn!!! So I'm a lot heavier than I've thought I've been for years and years!!!

I have Renpho scales at home and I can tell you they are considerably more generous than the body scan machine at the David Lloyd!!
