Suggestions for a good free calorie tracker

I've been using My fitness pal for ages, it has all my stored foods etc but now the bar code scanner doesn't work for the free section and I don't want to pay £20 monthly to use the scanner.

Is there another app the you've used, is good, works well and let's you scan arcades for free?

You can sign up to noom and not use anything other than the food tracker, or nutricheck is another free one.

My net diary is pretty good. I swapped from MFP, to this, not because of fees, I just found it more user friendly.

However after a little Google, I found out how to get the scanner back, (change location to UK) so hopefully it works for a while longer.

I thought it was set to the UK as I live here but hey ho, I hope this works.
