How has weight loss changed you and your relationship?

I've lost around 15 kilos in weight (still a lot more weight to lose) and already I can see how much that weight loss has changed me. I look better in clothes, feel more positive and far more comfortable in social settings. I'm starting to think about what activities I'd like to enjoy - the beach, bike rides and a lot more sex lol

I have also become more focused on my appearance and I can see that might easily become a very negative thing.

So far it's been positive relationship wise but I know that weight loss can impact relationships in a negative way. DH has been very supportive and patient and he says he loves how happier I look. I've started to get attention from men (not initiated or encouraged by me!) and it's not something I'm used to.

How has weight loss impacted you and your relationship with your partner and the world in general?

I've lost about 36lbs and look very different.
I've definitely started looking after myself better - of course in terms of diet, I'm eating really healthily, and even though I've always exercised I've massively ramped it up so I'm feeling really great all round. But I've also started wearing (a little bit of) makeup pretty much every day, and generally taking more care of how I look.
I don't think it's changed my relationship at all though. Luckily DH has always been lovely to me. We both knew I needed to lose weight but he never mentioned it (just didn't 'deny' it if I brought it up), and he's always been supportive.
People in general do look at me differently though, I think. You tend to disappear and become invisible if you're overweight. Sad but true.
Also I think it really shows when someone likes themselves again, and has confidence in the way they walk/dress etc.!

@LionAndEmperor13 So you feel that the change in how the world responds to you in in part how you've changed in how you present and behave? So in Sone ways you are a different person.

I'm not at goal yet but clothes are starting to look nicer on me and I am caring more about how I look. And I hate that it makes such a difference but I do feel more socially confident
