Im trying to loose weight is eatting 1500 calories a day ok to loose weight ..im 16 stone..iv already lost a stone.. find dieting so hard some days ..just woundering how much would you except to loose with 1500 calories

@Amyjune how much weight you might expect to lose depends on the individual - what height/weight you are and how active you are. There's a calculation that works out something called your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) which is how many calories you need per day to stay the same weight. To lose weight, you need to be eating 500 calories less than whatever your own individual TDEE is. Sticking to 500 calories less than your TDEE would mean losing about a pound a week.

So, my personal TDEE is around 2140 calories, so to lose weight I would need to be sticking to around 1640 calories per day or less.

There are loads of TDEE calculators online. Try a few out and see what they calculate for you.
