Who's up for this? Need a reset leading to Xmas. I'm pretty rubbish at leading a group mind but I'm so motivated to change. My aim is to go Oct to end of March. 6 months to improve/ transform. So happy to blog it as a loner but anyone welcome to join ☺️.

A complete novice to this but I'm ready for a proper challenge leading me to Xmas and afterwards onto the clocks changing at the end of March.

Backstory: I've lost the 2st from 15st to 13st (that I gained during lockdown) last Autumn/ Winter and developed a decent gym habit after decades of couch potatoing. So I do have a decent start point. However, from April I've gained and lost the same 5lbs frustratingly. I've put it down to peri meno not the weekend wine and chocolate that I went back to 🤫. I'm definitely at my set point weight and can maintain it no problem but I need to lose at least 3st more to be healthier.

So from 1st October, I'm planning a 6 month health re-set to the end of Mar based on the 75 hard/ soft challenge.

My challenges:

  • Eat whole foods and eat only when hungry. Focusing on protein, veg and fruit.
  • no alcohol at all. Increase water and green tea, reduce tea habit.
  • continue the gym 45mins at least 5x a week. Walk 30 mins before work and 30 mins after work.
  • book reading, I'm not great at this but I will listen to inspirational audiobooks or podcasts on my daily walks.
  • I'll weigh in daily and post my progress pictures on a private IG account I have created as a blog (no followers). I do follow lots of weight loss/ healthy eating/ exercise accounts for motivation and information, they've been brilliant.
  • Self-care: Take my daily vitamins and continue with my daily skincare routine. Get lots of sleep. Meditation before bed.
  • Beauty:Teeth whitening, style hair, face masks, daily body lotion. I already have regular appointments set up with my hairdresser for roots, nails, brows and lash lift, massage and wax.

Its not going to be Miss Congeniality but Level up time, here I go......

Tomorrow, is shopping for supplies and developing my journal to track ;)

OK, I've made my plan. 183 days until 31st Mar. I'm going to run 3x 61 day challenges back to back with a goal of 10lbs lost at each 61 period end. Made a simple habit tracker to tick off each day. Feeling really good 😇.

Day 1: weigh in 183.4lbs.
Clean breakfast ✅ banana, scrambled eggs and green tea
Morning walk with Level up audiobook ✅
Clean lunch ✅ homemade veg soup, chicken thighs and decaf tea
