Beginner boxing classes

I have signed up for a charity boxing match😅 you get 8 weeks free training and take part in an actual boxing match at the end.. terrifying.

Since having my DD I have really struggling getting healthy and loosing the extra flab that graced me during pregnancy. Feeling at an all time low mentally and just feeling generally low with how I look, I decided to change my health and fitness for the better! I have little spare funds on an average month so had to strip back with gym subscription (that I barely made it to anyway) and general outgoings. I am extremely nervous, but I know I need to be fully pushed to whip myself back into shape, the free training sessions are the cherry on top for me. If all my friends and family know I am participating in a boxing match, I have no choice but to stick to it... right?!

I must be accountable for my current bad fitness and lifestyle habits!
I am hoping this is the new leaf I am hoping for.

Has anyone else done this? Or done boxing classes? Any advice on how to help my cardio training would be greatly appreciated! :)

Will keep you all posted.

Omg I did this earlier in the year, it was amazing!! All I will say is the more you put in, the more you get out! You will be put through your paces, but honestly, it was the best experience. I made friends, trained hard and raised money for charity. The event itself was incredible as well. Good luck, and most importantly enjoy yourself!!!xx

@SophieOrt So glad to speak to someone else who has took part! It was my first session last night and it really pushed me to the limit (feel like I am still sweating from it now😅) but I feel so proud of myself!!
