I miss my cheese, that's about the only thing. Is there any type of cheese we can eat apart from cottage cheese....

I recommend the book 'why we eat too much' by Andrew jenkinson

My way of eating these days is low sugar but cheese is not a problem 😁 I mostly live on cheese.

What diet are you following?
I had cheese every day on my weight liss journey. I was calorie counting.
Life with no cheese would be miserable

Ricotta, mozzarella or any other cheese in moderation. The stronger the flavour of cheese the less you need of it.

Cheese is good for you, protein and fat will keep you full up

I do like full fat cottage cheese, can only be Longley Farm, wont eat any other type

suki1964 · 22/09/2024 07:43

Tbh a diet that bans a food that you love is never going to work long term

I eat cheese. Proper cheese. Proper cut from the block full flavour cheese

Ok I dont eat it in the vast quantities that I used to but its not off the menu, and Ive lost 2 stone and have maintained for a year now

Last nights dinner was Spag Bol , using chicken mince, wholewheat pasta and a good handful of 30 month matured parmesan - was lush if I say so myself :)

Is a life without cheese worth living??? :)

wildthingsinthenight · 22/09/2024 15:26

No life is not worth living without cheese!
OP you aren't likely to stick to a diet where things you love are banned.
Gilliam McKeith is a crackpot IMO.
I suggest you download Nutricheck or my fitness pal and calorie count.
That's what I did and it was brilliant

CeffylCoch · 22/09/2024 16:35

Have cheese but count it in your calories and maybe not every day

CeffylCoch · 22/09/2024 16:36

Another recommendation for nutra check. I love crisps and still have a low calorie pack most days
