Have been on CD for 3 months now and although I'm over the moon that I've lost 2 and half stone I have noticed that my skin and hair have been extremely dry since starting the diet.Even my hairdresser has commented that she has never seen my hair so dry and dull looking.I've also found my hairline receding and when I'm washing it I am losing more than just the usual few strands.I have never had hairloss since my breastfeeding days 5 years ago.

On top of this,my teeth seem to be 'dissolving'-that sounds hysterical but it's the only way I can describe it!! Little bits of enamel are coming away every few days.I'll end up with no teeth at this rate.I've always had nice teeth and think it's more than a coincidence that this has only been happening since I started the diet.My CD counsellor has dismissed this and said theres no way the diet can cause my teeth to erode and hair to fall out. What do you think?Has anyone else had this?

I really don't want to stop the diet but if it's affecting my health I may not have a choice.

Sorry you are having a tough time.
I am a Cambridge Counsellor and although I have heard of the hair loss, I haven't had anyone with the other symptoms you describe.
Best thing to do is contact the Cambridge medical officer at Head Office on 01536 403344 She may be able to help you further.
