Last couple of ponds always the hardest

As title says, it feels like the closer I get to ideal weight the harder it seems to shed the pounds.

After dc1 I felt the same, and eventually had to cut calories drastically (and pretty much just one meal a day).
Seem to be in the same position again; am about 4lbs off initial ideal weight but I've been struggling for a while now (am also hitting 40 which might be playing a role).

Anyone else find the closer you get the harder it feels?

After weeks of waiting for the scale to change I finally saw a pound drop this morning...but I know the next week it'll be the same 1/2 pounds up and down 😩

Yes I agree. I am approximately 6 lbs away now from target. I just know it's going to take forever

Grrr I'm still stuck around the same weight 😢
Started the thread and weighed 9st 3.8lbs, went down to 9st 2.6lbs and have now been hovering at 9st 3.2lbs for a a while (went up to 4lbs).
I cant go any lower on calories as I really do feel completely starved.

This is me, I have 7lbs to go (having lost over 5 stone) and I am stuck! Scales haven't changed AT ALL for over three weeks. It's so disheartening.

Yep same here, Im now 5 ponds away from target and feel like its probably about a year away at this rate

Have you worked out your tdee? Ehats your height? Are you sedentary? active?

You're probably eating at maintenence so need to either reduce calories again (not ideal) or burn more through excerise, although this is harder as excerise doesn't burn much.
