I’ve begun using meal replacements and it’s working pretty well so far. I’ve got about 8 BMI points to lose before I’m at my target but I’ve been derailed in the past because I find it hard to stick to diets. I found that meal replacements for breakfast and lunch took the thinking away, and took the meal prep away: it’s just very straightforward.
I’ve found the 211 kcal Slimfast bars are good, as are the Sainsbury’s own brand Shape & Slim. They’re quite expensive though, particularly the Slimfast ones. Any other recommendations for protein-high meal replacements that keep you full for a few hours?
I haven’t tried the soups or shakes - for some reason I find the idea a bit ick, but also the meal bars can just go from cupboard to bag without any faff or prep, which I think is something I need.
