Can anyone help - have a rough plan but struggling to implement it

I’ve always struggled with my weight. I never went beyond a certain point so I was never exactly enormous (this is relatively speaking, I mean I was never so big I couldn’t fit on plane seats sort of enormous) but never exactly slim either. Most of my adult life I’ve bounced between 11 and 14 stone.

In both my pregnancies I’ve got huge - over 17 stone - and both times lost a dramatic amount of weight after birth. Then gained it slowly. At the moment I’m 14 stone again and I really want / need to lose it. I’m 44 and struggling with my joints and knees, nothing fits, I’m fed up.

I want to do the OnetoOne diet which used to be Cambridge - I get not everyone likes VLCD programmes but it works for me. My tentative plan is to start Friday (16th.) My son’s birthday is 16th December so I have four clear months in which to get down to a healthy BMI. (I’m just setting that as significant dates do tend to be a motivation for me.)

But I am wondering - so I need a helping hand? I’m seeing a lot about injections, do these work? I am a desperate woman and will try anything!

Following as I am wondering about starting this as well, as absolutely nothing else seems to work! I am 40 and have a holiday in October. Started trying to lose weight beginning of July and have gained about 1kg.

Thanks! I will, although I’ve downloaded the nutra check app for one more go at counting calories. It used to work when I was younger but recently has been useless….
do you have to get the one 2 one products from a consultant? Feel like it would be easier to just buy online or something!
regarding ozempic/injectables I know it does work but to get it prescribed you need to have diabetes I think, my auntie has lost 4 stone on it but she was quite big, had a few different health conditions and was a serial binge eater.

You Can get them from eBay - similar price either way! Smile
