Meals for a family that can be adapted for weight loss

Hi all!

I need some inspiration! What are your favourite family meals that can be adapted for your weight loss?

I'm not following a particular diet plan and am open to all ways of eating. But I just don't want to have to eat separately from my family.

Thank you!

You could skip the carbs or have a smaller portion?

I am doing WW so this is what I make in the colder weather that is WW friendly. I use the lowest percentage of fat turkey mince (usually from Aldi or Lidl) with kidney beans, peppers, mushrooms sometimes, pre chopped chillies in a jar ( available from Tesco or Lidl) and then I would have it with either the fat free rice alternative I could
get from Homebargains or a weighed out portion of pasta or even wraps. This would form a low point meal for me in most cases.

Only one meal idea - but sometimes when serving spaghetti bolognese, I do spaghetti for others but put my bolognese into a roasted red pepper to limit carbs. I normally serve a salad alongside it too so have more of that.

Jacket spuds -
Cottage cheese or baked beans for me.

Cheese, butter etc for everyone else.

Bolognaise- no pasta but stuff and roast a pepper or tomato instead. For lasagna use courgettes or aubergine instead of pasta sheets.

Chicken curry (any variety) - no rice but cauliflower rice or vegetable noodles

Cottage pie - no potatoes but mashed swede

That said when I'm trying to cut back its carbs I get rid off. So I don't eat bread or potatoes so no butter for example. I just have whatever protein is being cooked with veg or salad.
