Losing a stone and a half in my mid 50s

I need to lose about a stone and a half.

I've lost a stone and a half since last August - and it hasn't been particularly hard. I've been exercising a lot more but that's about health, I'm not sure it's made much difference to my weight.

I have been eating a lot more veg and protein and cut down hard on salty snacks and cheese and mindless grazing.

I think this last stone, that I'd like to lose before Christmas, will be much harder. and then another half stone. For some reason breaking it up makes it sound easier.

Portion control and less wine. I was being good about just a couple of glasses on a Saturday unless there was a good reason....but that has crept up again as I find in the summer there are more good reasons in the week!

I eat much more healthily but you can eat well but still too much....

SW 12.5 stone (weighed in day at GPs)
GW 11 stone.
