Slimpod?

I've seen adverts for slimpod and wondered if anyone else had used it and how they found it. I've got 2 to 3 stone to lose. I'm attracted to the "changing relationship with food" idea but don't want to fork out for it if it doesn't work that well. Does anyone have any experience?

I used it but it didn't make one whit of difference to my weight.

Relaxing but didn't stop me overeating.

Agree with @Calyx72, I wanted it to work so badly but it didn't.

Justkeeprollingalong · 21/07/2024 17:27

Another agreement from me. No effect whatsoever.

Thank you for your comments. Has anyone else tried it? So far it seems to be nay rather than yay!

Same for me. Big waste of money.

Me! With great success. Could not recommend it more really. I had 2 stone to lose and have ended up losing a bit more than that. I have found it life changing tbh. I was active before, in terms of walking a lot, cleaning, dog walking etc but now I do all that and formal exercise too. The main changes are that I feel much happier and more positive overall and have reversed a health issue plus all the positives from the weight loss itself. What I've found is that the program really helped me to focus on only eating when I'm hungry, and then to make better choices. The weight then just came off. You can do the first 10 days totally free and still cancel after the next 30d, so 40d to decide if you like it. Worst case cost wise is 3×£33, so £99 total and you get to keep all the resources for ever after the first 3 months (which is only the beginning really). I'm on day 439 of Slimpod now, and happily maintaining. I think it worked for me because I had a very compelling reason to do it and I really commited to the principles. I'd highly recommend it. (I don't work for SP BTW!)

Eat less move more.

Slim pod my arse.

I like it. I’ve lost around a stone with a good few more to go but more importantly I’m snacking a lot less and making much better choices. For the first time I don’t feel controlled by food or deprived or like I’m ’on a diet’.

MrsMonzo · 23/07/2024 23:22

Didn't work for me, trying to eat intuitively and not track calories like they recommend made me gain weight. And the Facebook group is a bit bonkers, any post not absolutely brimming with positivity gets the comments turned off by admin, but not before you've been jumped on and told that you mustn't be tracking your wins, watching the training videos or joining the Facebook lives and this is why it's not working for you 😐

They say that around 5% of people who try the plan don't lose weight, I reckon it's a lot more than that they just don't like you to post that on their Facebook group.

The pods do make me fall asleep easily though, so I guess there is a plus.

Well it helped me do just that tbh, which I've never managed before, like every other failed dieter on the planet.
