or make a dip with yoghurt and chilli sauce of some description? (Nandos extra hot is my preference!)

Enid · 08/04/2008 11:14

Cucumber or peppers then?

Celery/raw fennel

Cherry tomatoes

Doesn't have to be carrots!

[feels vaguely suicidal]

Why not prepare a whole load of raw veg and mix them up, so you get the variety?

What about olives? Get the ones with garlic/chilli

Or even pickled onions/shallots - only need one or two to satisfy the tastebuds. You can get the ones that are pickled with chillies as well if you need the heat.

Enid · 08/04/2008 11:17

olives!

pickled chilis!

now we're talking

Can you eat cheese? Don't know if you're on any particular plan. A small piece of cheese can be very satisfying.

Equally a handful of - and brazil nuts are very good for you.

Enid · 08/04/2008 11:18

yes I can eat cheese

a thin slice of strong cheddar, a pickled chili and some veg

watch out ozone layer!

But as long as they're your own! Somehow pleasingly acceptable I always think.

Are you veggie? Why so many vegetables?

chicken wings baked in yoghurt and spices. Or chicken thighs with skin off if you want to be healthy.

Ham wrapped round a gherkin.

Mini salmon and rocket wraps.

All of these take about 2 mins to prepare.

Enid · 08/04/2008 11:44

fabby

loving ham wrapped round a gherkin

I may make some low fat Soup with spices in

to keep the hot sustaining food cravings at bay
