Weird experience

I've recently started a weight loss journey. I've only been consuming fruits, veggies, and yogurt. After I started losing weight my body started contracting in my lower abdomen. Sometimes it feels like something is moving right before the contractions start. I had a tubal litigation 10 years ago, and I'm not pregnant. Has anyone else experienced this?

Am I reading this right, you are only eating fruit, veg and yoghurt? Nothing else at all? And you're surprised that you're not feeling great?

Iwant2live · 10/06/2024 14:19

So far that's what I've been eating. This morning I ate 3 boiled eggs. I'll probably have an apple and some yogurt for lunch. Do you have any advice or was your question all you came to give? Helpful advice is welcome, please stay respectful.

It sounds like a lot of wind and all that fibre from the fruit and veg working it's way through.

RoseAndRose · 10/06/2024 15:00

First though was trapped wind

AhBiscuits · 10/06/2024 15:03

It's not unusual for dairy to cause wind and bloating. I imagine you've have had a big increase in fibre from the fruit and veg. It'll be wind.
It's this a particular diet plan you're following? Sounds bizarre.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 10/06/2024 15:03

Wind probably especially if that's all you are eating.

Paninaro94 · 10/06/2024 15:04

Maybe a more balanced diet will help?

SatinHeart · 10/06/2024 15:33

I was going to say wind too, especially if your intake of fruit/veg/yoghurt has increased a lot and fairly suddenly compared to what you were eating before you started your weight loss plan. Your gut bacteria might take a while to adjust.

Iwant2live · 10/06/2024 16:46

Thank you everyone. It was indeed gas from sudden increase in fiber and dairy. The gas was causing intestinal spasms. I will continue on my journey as I otherwise feel great. I'm very thankful I finally wrapped my head around making healthier choices. We only get one vessel and I need to take care of mine.

Lanawashington - I feel that you were unfairly snapped at there!

Lanawashington · 10/06/2024 19:49

Tbh yes my question was all I came to give because I just can’t believe anyone could possibly think that’s a healthy diet and way of life
