Has anyone read Allen Carr's book to lose weight?

I've heard lots of good things about his smoking cessation but not so much about weightloss.

If you've tried it, how did you get on with it?

I did. It didn’t work.

No, I read the smoking one years ago though. Still puffing away haha but I do remember that he made some good points.

It's not as good as his quitting smoking one. He's basically just promoting veganism! (Or is it vegetarianism, I can't remember, read it a while ago)

I read his smoking book while puffing away like Thomas the Tank Engine.

I kept on chain smoking for a good couple of years after reading the book so it didn’t work for me.

Thank you for your replies.

I did a search and found similar, disappointing feedback.

I need some kind of support. I can't seem to stick to anything.

I liked the quit smoking and alcohol ones but the lose weight one was weird!! There was a lot of focus on wild animals and the fact that they aren’t over weight. And yes at the end it’s basically a vegan diet that is unveiled. Disappointing!
