Getting started - keep me accountable please

Can you come keep me accountable please. Or join me? Usual story… I know what I need to do but don’t do it.

Last year I lost a stone slow and steady and felt quite good. Still had a way to go. Christmas threw me. Had a mental health blip and haven’t been able to get back on track. Put back on half of what I lost at my heaviest. currently 12st 13 & 5ft 4 so tipping into the obese category 😢

got a weekend away not this weekend coming but next.

want a kick start so thinking fast 800 (haven’t bought a plan just from googling) until I go away. Not usually into “diets”. Usually done whole food, min ultra processed, low sugar. But it’s so slow and I really need a re set.

going to need to muddle through tomorrow as not much shopping in.

I have also written out a workout/movement plan to fit in round my week as I’ve been slacking on that too. 3 resistance work outs, walks, longer walks, some stretching and yoga.

Hi, I'm doing Fast 800. I started 6 weeks ago and have lost 18lb so far (SW 12st 12lb, 5ft 8in). I'd like to get to 10.5st ideally. I haven't found it too bad. I lost a lot in the first two weeks and now losing 1-2lb a week. I'm very "all or nothing" so doing what some might feel is an extreme diet works for me as I'm only going to do it for 3 months max. I'm not good at doing things in moderation and would have given up if weight loss was really slow.

Don't do fast 800 for too long. It's good for a start but me and a friend did it for 12 weeks and both had substantial hair loss. I think 2 weeks on fast 800 and then moving onto maybe 5:2 or 4:3 would be better.

Started this morning with 2 eggs, half an avocado and a small tomato. My fitness pal says that’s 280 cals already! 😨

Lentil and veg soup bubbling away for lunch. That’s only 100 odd calories apparently. Some veg and tuna for dinner. Will have a 30 min walk at lunchtime.

shop delivered tomorrow with lots of veg and protein.

many tips for alleviating the inevitable headache?

good point re the hair loss. Something I’ve already struggled with so think I will just do it for rest of this week and next before I go away. Then 5:2 seems like it might be a good thing to help stay on track
