Pharmacy that don't share mounjaro/wegovy information with GP?

Are there any pharmacies that don't notify your GP?

I was looking to order via simple online pharmacy or med express but both of them share the data with your GP so it's added to your NHS records.

I'm embarassed about my weight/size in general and really dont want this adding to my NHS records, as I don't want to be having any conversations about it etc.

My first script with Voy didn't ask for GP information, but I'm wanting to switch as they're quite pricey after the joining offer.

Health Express allow you to print a letter to take to the GP yourself rather than them informing the GP, which you could presumably not take if you didn't want to.

However, it's better to be honest with the GP as it might affect other medications they prescribe to you or understanding of any symptoms you present with.

Your GP needs to know.
What if something goes wrong?
What about any other medication your on?

I saw the letter that was sent to my gp on my records today.
It was just asking if I had any health issues and listed some. And no contact was needed unless gp concerned.
Nothing occurred from it.

this is the kind of thing you really want on your medical records…

Have you seen some of the side effects for this stuff? What happens if you are hospitalised for these or other reasons, and there's no record of you being on these meds?

I think you need to be practical and a big girl about your choices. If you want/need the meds you should crack on with it. They are not prescription only unless you can't pay for them/have a medical need and if your GP is sniffy, not your problem. But it is for good reason they should be on your records.

Hi my Gp is really condescending, I’m 3 stones overweight and just told me to take up running and eat 800 a day. Did you find any pharmacies that do not contact your Gp?

Hi, I am with weprescribe.co.uk Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either! No GP letter if you don't want one.
They are on monj.co.uk so you can compare to other providers

Your GP will not give a hoot about it! They have no time to be judging.
