Wegovy question

Morning ! I am on 1 mg of wegovy at the moment but I have a 0.5 mg dose in the fridge, I bought in the past thinking I was going to stick 0.5 mg longer but changed my mind and switch to 1 mg. I want to switch to 0.5 mg purely because I don’t want that dose to go to waste and have a break from paying. Anyone has done it for whatever reason ? Did you put some weight on back ? Thank you !

Can you take two double doses from the pen, thus giving yourself two 1mg doses? I understand that you might not want to do that given the price of the 0.5mg pen.

Are you considering tapering down and sticking on the 0.5 pen for longer, or just dipping down into it and then back up to the 1mg pen? I'd imagine one month on 0.5 wouldn't make much difference to your appetite. I'd just be uncomfortable doing it, and I can't quite explain why I'd be uncomfortable. Maybe because we don't know quite the effects Wegovy are having on our overall hormone balance and swapping down and up between doses just seems like adding an unnecessary complication.
