You look overweight but not big.

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 10/05/2024 11:15

You look a little overweight, but certainly not big.

Maddy70 · 10/05/2024 11:15

A little thick around the middlle. But not fat!

NigelHarmansNewWife · 10/05/2024 11:17

I agree with Potato and the extra weight is largely on your abdomen, which is not great from a health pov.

Eviebeans · 10/05/2024 11:18

Look bigger in the first picture than the others

Horseskeepmesane · 10/05/2024 11:19

The joys of having polycyclic ovaries! I really do struggle with my mid section

You carry it well - I'm the same height and at slightly less than that weight I look much bigger.

afraidand · 10/05/2024 11:19

you are clearly overweight. You do not look obese

Horseskeepmesane · 10/05/2024 11:21

As a guide how much do you think I could do with loosing?

everyone is different; and I do think you carry it well but I’m 5-6 and 45 and if I’m up in high tens i feel big. I think around or a bit under ten stone is a good weight for me anyway

Notquitethere60 · 10/05/2024 11:32

I’m a similar height and weight to you but carry my weight more on my hips and legs. What is your waist measurement. Ideally it should be no more than half your height so 33inches. I think you look overweight - maybe aim to lose 5kg/12lb and see how that goes. I feel great at anything under 11st 7 but we’re all different.

BlackTable · 10/05/2024 11:37

I think you look good! You could lose half a stone and hopefully that will help flatten the belly (I hold it there too) but that's the only area that looks bigger to me. It's annoying because if you only put weight on in one area (like I said, I'm the same - stomach and also arms for me), then it accentuates more. My legs are the same whatever weight I am. Good damn apple shape!

Horseskeepmesane · 10/05/2024 11:45

Thankyou all for your replies, I gain it immediately on my stomach and face!! Yes I am aiming to get down to 11 stone which is around 24lb

Mrcrabsleg · 10/05/2024 11:49

I know i’m going to sound brutal here compared to some of the other replies, but I would say that you could do with losing at least 20lbs because you are carrying it all on your mid section.

Having gained a good stone myself recently in exactly the same areas, but convincing myself that it wasn’t that bad as I could still squeeze in to my clothes, I was amazed when my cholesterol and blood pressure went up hand in hand with the weight gain. Already since losing some of the weight my BP is on the way down and I feel better and more energetic in myself.

AhBiscuits · 10/05/2024 11:57

I've got the same body type as you, any weight goes on the tummy. I think you carry it well as you look lighter than you are. A stone off would make a big difference.

SherrieElmer · 10/05/2024 12:09

Shed 10 kgs and you will be stunning.
